What is a rectangle?

Find the perimeter of the rectangle of sides 9m and 8m

Sol:

Step 1: Let, l = 9m, w = 8m

Step 2: Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 (l + w)

Step 3: Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 (9+ 8)

= 2 (17)

= 34m

Result: Therefore, Perimeter of the rectangle = 34m
