Basic Rules Of Denominator

Denominator

Surds are natural numbers which are written in square root form or cube root form or so on. & hence in other terms surds are irrational numbers. Surds Denominator is now defined as the denominator part of a fraction where the fraction consists a surd in the denominator of the fraction.
Examples for Surds Denominator are as below.

Basic rules to solve problems with denominators:
  • First we find the least common divisor of all the denominators.
  • Multiply each term by the least common divisor
  • Simplify by cancellations and multiplying
  • Group like terms and add to get an equation form
  • Solve the equation to get the value of the variable.
